About us
"Eggs For Congo" is a pioneering company in the poultry sector of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Since 2014, the founders Jean Pierre Mwipata, Didier Molisho, and Hanno Kiezebrink have been committed to promoting growth and innovation in the Congolese poultry industry through sustainable economic and local development initiatives.
Initially established as a commercial laying farm, when Wim Lemmens took ownership of EFC, the company decided to reorganize its operations into a breeding farm, sustainably producing day-old chicks. Starting from Kinshasa, EFC quickly expanded with the ambition to serve the entire DRC and the Central African region. Despite unforeseen natural challenges and political setbacks, EFC's resilience and vision propelled it to become a leading force in the industry, proudly supplying the renowned SASSO breed.

We hatch day-old chicks every week from locally produced hatching eggs at our base farm in Kinshasa.
Please place your order in advance using the order form on our website or by calling +243 822 002 812
On the day of delivery, pick up your chicks at our hatchery or have them delivered anywhere in the country for a small additional fee.
